What to Expect at Temple
1. The Worship
The temple in the Bible was the intersection of God and His people. Because of Jesus and the Holy Spirit, believers are now the temple. Our goal is to be the Kingdom of God and glorify Him. This means our worship style is a mix of traditional and contemporary. We aim to place more focus on lyrics than on a preferred style. Come join us!
2. The Atmosphere
You can expect a family environment. Temple runs at about 110-120 people a Sunday. You WILL be noticed. We want to know and love you the best we can because that's what Christ did for us! You will find a welcoming atmosphere of many different kinds of people, dressed in anything from suits to hoodies. Come as you are!
3. The Teaching
Our church is a Southern Baptist Church. Believe it or not, this has nothing to do with our accents! This means we teach the Bible consistently with the beliefs of the Southern Baptist denomination. The sermons are based on one central text and grounded in that scripture.
4. Your Visit
If you're planning a visit, come to our Sunday Service. Don't be surprised if someone wants to get lunch with you! Let the pastor or anyone you meet know if you decide to get more involved and need information or advice.
