EVERYWHERE
The Divine Mandate:
Here, There, Everywhere
8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
- Acts 1:8
Honduras:
As a church we financially, spiritually (through prayer), and physically (with periodical short-term mission trips) support two on-the-field missionary families in Honduras. Rene and Brook Pizatti serve families in Honduras through there missionary organization Legacy Mission International while Joseph and Rebecca Bennett serve with Baptist Medical and Dental Mission International (BMDMI) Both serve the physical and spiritual needs of the Honduran people through medical teams, programs for the youth, two bible institutes that train local pastors, church planting and growth through home churches all across the mountains and the islands of Honduras and an orphanage together with a bi-lingual school in the Zamorano Valley. E3:
TBC works with this international mission organization that focuses on mission trips that take a direct approach to sharing the gospel and partnering with missions organizations already in the country to help teach believers how to share the Gospel, disciple others, and plant churches. They take hundreds of trips to over 50 countries every year to spread the Gospel, disciple new believers, plant churches, and raise up local leaders to do the same. It’s the Gospel gone viral through God’s people! Yangon, Myanmar:
TBC has adopted the unreached people group, south okklapar, in the Town of Yangon, Myanmar as a prayer mission. The area is a fast growing area and one of the highest populated spaces without an evangelistic church. Many who live in this area are well established and have become hardened to hearing the message of the gospel. Spiritual conversions are difficult here, and some fear that they will be rejected by their community if they believe in the gospel. We are praying for a local believer as he seeks to share and grow his faith and for the gospel to be spread.
International Mission Board:
Temple Baptist is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention and excitedly partners with the International Mission Board (IMB) to share the gospel across the world. The IMB's vision is to see a multitude from every language, people, tribe and nation knowing and worshiping our Lord Jesus Christ. They accomplish this by partnering with churches to empower limitless missionary teams who are evangelizing, discipling, planting, and multiplying healthy churches, and training leaders among unreached peoples and places for the glory of God.
